1) I just want to throw down a quick thread here regarding the local goings-on in Kentucky, because politically? Kentucky is a weird ass state.

To start, we've only recently started getting Republican governors. Before 2003? Our last was from 1967. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_g…
2) At the state level, the state is split. We have 2 major Democrat strongholds, Lexington and Louisville, which are Democrat strongholds since decades before the civil rights era, there's NEVER been a steady Republican presence in either city (southern switch my hairy nutsack)
3) As such, you have strange power splits. Such as right now our Republican governor, @GovMattBevin, and our Democrat attorney general @AndyBeshearKY which has resulted in a nonstop power struggle between the two as Andy Beshear has waged literally NONSTOP lawfare against Bevin.
@GovMattBevin @AndyBeshearKY 4) When Bevin replaced the University of Louisville Board of Trustees which was so corrupt that it triggered an IRS audit? Andy Beshear was there to protect his Democrat cohorts by trying to stymie the move entirely by suing Bevin. courier-journal.com/story/news/201…
@GovMattBevin @AndyBeshearKY 5) Beshear's been suing over damn near everything, by 2017 having already sued Bevin's office FOUR FUCKING TIMES over actions taken by Bevin. kentucky.com/news/politics-…
@GovMattBevin @AndyBeshearKY 6) These cases are taking years to resolve, the previous one regarding the reshaping of education boards not being resolved until 2019 where the Kentucky Supreme Court ruled in favor of Bevin, like what usually happens because THE LAWSUITS ARE FRIVOLOUS wfpl.org/ky-supreme-cou…
@GovMattBevin @AndyBeshearKY 7) When Beshear takes to actually doing his job, such as very high-profile lawsuits against opioid distributors...

@GovMattBevin @AndyBeshearKY 8) As Bevin claims in his recent tweet thread, Beshear was handing those lawsuits over to outside councils who also happened to be friends and political donors, rather than keeping those cases within the office of the Kentucky Attorney General.
@GovMattBevin @AndyBeshearKY 9) Beshear's response to being stymied in his efforts to pay off friends and donors with Kentucky taxpayer money?

Suing Bevin.

He lost again.

BADLY.

@GovMattBevin @AndyBeshearKY 10) And NOW, Beshear is trying to run AGAINST Bevin!

It should be obvious given Beshear's tried suing Bevin over every major decision he attempts, a major overreach of the duties of the Kentucky Attorney General, that Beshear REALLY REALLY wants to be governor of Kentucky.
@GovMattBevin @AndyBeshearKY 11) Just like his daddy, Steve Beshear, which given Andy Beshear took office in 2016, @GovMattBevin really SHOULD have the ground he walks on worshiped as he prevented the Beshears from having a nepotistic dynastic control of Kentucky.

@GovMattBevin @AndyBeshearKY 12) Bevin has been actively opposing the Beshear dynasty and their Democrat partners in corruption running roughshod over and bilking Kentucky of millions of dollars.

And that's just on the GOVERNOR side of things.
@GovMattBevin @AndyBeshearKY 13) I'll do another thread later on the clusterfuck that the Kentucky Senate race for Cocaine Mitch @Team_Mitch has become.
