Not kidding
Eating nasty stuff over there shows you respect their culture and they’ll laugh at you.
Dinners are any opportunity to get the factory drunk and negotiate everything from MOQ, sample times, lead time and pricing.
Bring TUMS haa.
Develop a checklist w/ the factory’s team so every product leaves perfect or get re-done.
Then make a 2nd checklist for packaging so you don’t get smacked w/ fees by your 3PL
If you don’t do this, I guaranteed you will have issues
Factories source materials & product features like zippers from vendors.
Go to the vendor’s factories with your factory team to understand how their process works and ask questions.
Learn the whole process.
Spreadsheets & written english understanding can cause the process of confirming an order to take weeks.
Have a meeting to confirm all the little details of your pre production samples are correct then place your order.

HUGE MISTAKE. Have at least 3 factories that are producing your stuff and in different countries.
You can use the quotes to make the factories bid against each-other on pricing
Factories have an end of the year party. Awards are given out & owners make a speech.
Huge event for their team & an opportunity for you to show them some love. When every person in factory can put a face to your company your products are better.
Few do this.
This experience is priceless & key for a brands success.
