NYT has now confirmed: DOD personnel have stayed at Trump Turnberry golf resort in Scotland since the surge that started in Oct. 2017 of DOD flights making stopovers there. But it remains unclear if DOD is doing this to benefit Trump Org. Here's our piece. nytimes.com/2019/09/07/us/…

1) Trump bought Turnberry golf resort in Scotland in 2014 for $60 mn, spent $150 mn to renovate - part of an all-cash spending spree that is not consistent with Trump's visible resources.
@NatashaBertrand 2) Turnberry has consistently lost money. Trump's other golf resort in Scotland has lost even more, $6.2 million in losses for the two in 2017. motherjones.com/politics/2018/…
