Good question.
Unfortunately part of NZ media appears to continue to relentlessly demonstrate an anti-Labour, anti-Winston Peters bias - while being effectively an advertising platform for the National Party,

This happened when the Nats were in, and has continued since ousted.
IMO it’s important that the media not just be a megaphone for an incumbent government or any opposition party or politicians, or other agenda driven elite interests; especially if they also abuse their media power to attack the opponents to their preferred politicians or Party.
IMO corp media around the world has lost it’s credibility due to one-eyed profiteering focus; and frequent blatant bias, misinformation, & speculative agenda-driven Fake News - presented as if indisputable facts.

IMO News has improved in NZ, but needs to be much more nonpartisan
I for one find it particularly offensive (and a serious abuse of media power) to have the partisan political views (and attack comments on the opponents of their favoured political elites) of any media talking head, to be foisted on the public.

IMO this is in effect propaganda
