What the Democratic party and Biden don't understand is that when pro-fracking, union-busting, for-profit insurance-loving billionaires stand up at fancy fundraisers and proclaim their role as gatekeepers for the party, it's not the candidates they disdain who end up looking bad.
Even on optics alone, it's a horrible look for Biden to have billionaires who made a killing during the 2008 crash give interviews while sipping champagne at his fundraiser talking about how much they prefer him to Warren or Bernie. This should go without saying. Welp, oh well...
From the Trump tax cuts to the wall street bailouts and beyond, the massive transfers of wealth to richest keep happening in plain sight while people suffer. And I truly believe that most politicians are underestimating people's awareness and anger at their own political peril...

The GOP is threatening to cut millions of people's basic needs so they can pay for their tax cuts that only enrich their millionaire and billionaire friends. Yet I see absolutely NO ONE in the media asking if Republicans are moving too far right...

Why?

1) Kamala is the privileged daughter of foreign post grad students. She spent most of her formative years growing up in Canada. She's not an Black American descendant of slaves. She's a Brahmin Indian (highest caste) descendant with paternal lineage of plantation slave owners.
2) She wasn't a defense attorney. She was a prosecutor. She laughed about smoking weed listening to Tupac Shakur but put almost 2,000 people in jail for doing pretty much the same thing. She levied fines on single mothers whose kids were truant from school.
3) She denied parole to inmates so she could make them work for nothing while the State of California made a dollar a day off their labor.

White people, even those who think they're liberal, hide behind all sorts of excuses to oppose school diversity programs, but the grim reality is that they still think it will somehow hurt their kids. But in truth, kids of all races benefit.
Far too many white liberals think that it's enough to tell kids racism is bad, but actions speak louder than words. If white kids are sequestered in segregated schools, they absorb racist attitudes that can't be eradicated with a history lesson on civil rights.

Clarifying that I meant #Harris was right on her death penalty stance and that it is my stance that @CNN reviving this story is the pandering aspect.

One feels for the widow, but we are not served by the death penalty in a civilized society..
