When will so called intellectuals realise that beliefs, traditions, culture, values that transcend & defy economics and contemporaneity can't be wiped out except by barbarians. Only barbarians have succeeded in destroying others traditions. The days of barbarians are over
The average age of Karnatic musicians was over 40 twenty years ago. Now it is in 20s. IIT/IIM educated are pursuing full-time music. Music is a path to reach enlightenment, even realisation. Not just art. So is dance, sculpture..see temples...
