Are there really only two possible relationships between the UK and the other 27 countries of the EU? No?

So does it make ANY sense to have a referendum choice between a relationship defined by 100s of pages of international treaty - VS - LITERALLY ANY OTHER relationship?
Worse still, after people obviously vote for the CHANCE of a better relationship, does it make sense to let MPs decide what it should be with ZERO input from the people?

EVEN worse, to ignore the fact that the majority voted against a No-Deal relationship in the 2017 election?
So...
We know the referendum choice to leave the EU officially said nothing about the relationship that would result from that.
We know that not all leavers want a No-Deal relationship.
We know there's no majority for any other relationship...

So... We just do what Farage says?

If the UK is no longer an integrated part of the European Market, then we're no longer a logical base of European distribution.

That means if you want to sell stuff across Europe, it doesn't make sense to employ people in a UK that's outside the main European market.
Every Market has trade barriers.
If you wanted to sell across Europe, and you were looking to set up a factory in either an integrated Single Market which covers 30 European countries, with 500 million customers, or a market of 65 million customers, where would you put it?
Concrete example:
You own Nissan.

Nissan's Sunderland factory sends 70% cars to EU countries.
A trade barrier between UK & EU means 70% of your cars face extra cost.
If your factory was on the other side of the barrier, it'd be 30%

To every journalist who said the Lib Dems letting people vote for a party that will stop Brexit is undemocratic: Congratulations.
By implying that our democracy can't change its mind and that the views of 48% have no place in it, you've paved our descent into fascism.

You've let Farage pressure you into spreading the idea that an advisory referendum on a concept so vague, Brexit voters ended up hating the Brexit they got, not only overrides elections (core of our democracy) but limits what parties can offer in elections.
WHERE ARE YOUR SPINES!
Many of you have resisted the idea of having a referendum on whatever deal results from Brexit. That's bad enough given that Brexit was undefined & un-negotiated when people voted for it.
But to say that neither a referendum OR an election can stop Brexit is some Mussolini sh**.

1) We'd be able to cut through all this nonsense if TV interviewers asked the following:

If no deal is something we can easily cope with, then how can it *also* be so terrifying that 27 countries will capitulate and give us a deal?
2) or, if the EU27 are really terrified of no deal, why shouldn't we be terrified of no deal, and what right does anyone have to gamble the country's future on something so dangerous?
3) The reality is Brexit supporters are engaged in a massive doublethink, a childish worldview easily challenged but our media fails to challenge it.
