Insurance Companies frequently send letters out informing patients that they will not any longer cover medications that I prescribe. It appears that they are targeting #Independent #Doctors that they cannot #Control.
Are there any other doctors that see this pattern? Why on Earth would I remove meds from patients that are doing so well & have no side effects? It would be against my medical oath of "do no harm."
Read the letter they sent to me. CVS writes: " CVS Caremark wants to help your patients stay adherent to their medication therapy." Really? So you discontinue coverage for patients that are doing so well & make them pay for it completely themselves, & you claim you wish to help?
@realDonaldTrump President #Trump,
The #Insurance Companies seem to be getting away with far too much. They are there to insure patients but it appears there is a plot to target #Independent, Solo, #Private #Practice #Physicians that are not in their plan. Please read the letter.
@realDonaldTrump Why r #Insurance Companies allowed 2 get away with selectively targeting Independent Private Practice Doctors? They refuse 2 cover medications that were previously covered in the past. I'm not in any of their plans, so they can't control me, so they #HurtPatients
