So, @KatyTurNBC - there is no need for anyone to go through discovery to prove that the oil companies were funding disinformation campaigns.

Just look at the GCC - Global Climate Coalition, which sent @FrankLuntz + his sneakers to the 2000 IPCC-UNFCCC COP6.

But personally, I hope that we get to hold not just these organizations accountable, but the individuals responsible for fomenting this disinformation too for their actions over the period of time until they rescinded and disowned that platform.

They created a monster that is still being wielded as a weapon against the American public - including by our foreign adversaries.

You want to create an ideological rift for profit? You own the consequences. All of them.
Period.
