If a video gets demonetized, they will not send it out to all audiences. Why would they? They get less money.
Videos that are more "brand-friendly" or "ad-friendly" will be suggested more. If they are not, they will be recommended less.
This was made even more evident by their "self-monetization tool".
Here's a crazy screenshot of fellow Youtuber @Lyricoldrap as he has "PRANK" in his title. Views suppressed. THEN HE REMOVES PRANK and views go up
Similar to @LeafyIsHere and @RiceGum being suppressed towards mid-2016 as Youtube changed against them.
Here's evidence of this from @Lyricoldrap
Took mine and @Lance210 name out and views shot up.
The creators make the platform. Do I need to bring up what happened w/ Vine?
Made $2000 in Aug. Rest was backlog
But I couldn't be more excited for the future of @storyfireapp A true platform made by creators, for creators!

To Youtube, thank you for giving me the opportunity to succeed at my passion and bringing me all this way! I'll always be grateful for that.
