A democracy is dependent on a leader being accountable to the people. However, the people cannot hold that leader accountable if they do not have the facts.

And when the leader has confidence his misdeeds will be hidden, he can do any damn thing he likes with impunity.

Fox should be allowed to express whatever opinion they want.

But masquerading as "news" while intentionally lying to people to get their desired candidate elected is not "free speech."

It's an advertisement, and their audience should be told that. 3/3
