Trump is up! Bets are now open for whether he dunks on Biden from the #UNGA podium and then points to the Ukraine's spot in the GA Hall and goes "these guys know what I'm talking about"

This is a remarkably nationalistic speech already with some real Stephen Miller flourishes! Trump says that countries need to accept their national histories and "it must not attempt to erase them or replace them."

"If you want peace, love your nation" Trump says, followed by "The future does not belong to globalists. The future belongs to patriots."

Here's the full text of that section of Trump's #UNGA speech that focused on nationalism and not how we should not "replace" national histories

Trump stumbles a bit when talking migration: "Mass illegal migration is unfair, unsafe and unsustainable for everyone involved. The sending countries and the depleted countries — and they become depleted very fast. But the youth is not taken care of."

He goes on to flip the script of immigration activists:

"Today, I have a message for those open-border activists, who cloak themselves in the rhetoric of social justice. The policies are not just. Your policies are cruel and evil."

Trump to immigration activists, cont'd: "You are empowering criminal organizations that prey on innocent men, women and you put your own false sense of virtue, before the lives, well-being and countless innocent people."

This is the diplomat that Venezuela has sitting at their placard while Trump is speaking. It looks like she's reading about Simon Bolivar?

Trump attacks social media platforms at the #UNGA in a section about the dangers towards liberty we face (which includes "cancel culture??):

This was a surprise? "Our nation is working with others to stop criminalizing homosexuality. And we stand in solidarity with LGBTQ people who live in countries that punish, jail or execute individuals based upon sexual orientation" - Trump #UNGA

Trump announces that the US will never ratify the Arms Trade Treaty.

Then end of Trump's speech goes right back to nationalism and again pushes countries to "cherish your culture, honor your histories"

And looping back around for a second, Trump had a mid-key attack on "the Deep State" buried in his section on attacks on freedom #UNGA

In summation: Trump's #UNGA speech this year was the most forceful he's given yet to push the idea that not only should countries do what they want in their own borders, but they should also double-down on (ethno?)nationalism and the things that make us all different
