There's a ton of stuff going on with respect to impeachment and a lot is going to happen (maybe even before you finish reading this thread). So quick recap of where we are + action items:

First: Dems are having a meeting on impeachment at 4pm today (1 hour!). Our *immediate* ask is cal call your MoCs and urge them to publicly support impeachment. Here’s the link or text IMPEACH to 97779. indivisible.org/demand-your-me…

Calls are the most impactful thing right now because House Democrats are going to set direction on this in the next 24 hours or less and they need to hear from us right away.

We’re expecting Speaker Pelosi will come out in favor of impeachment proceedings at that meeting. Once that happens, things could move fast. We have 3 asks to MoCs, who can carry them to Speaker Pelosi. Once your MoC is on the record supporting impeachment, here are your asks:

#Impeachment Ask 1: Keep the investigation in the Judiciary committee. Judiciary has the authority to investigate and is already moving forward. A special select committee will only slow the process down.

#Impeachment Ask 2: Cancel next week’s recess. We need to investigate allegations against Trump, old and new, and there is no time to waste. Congress should cancel next week’s recess and stay in DC to do their jobs.

#Impeachment Ask 3: Support a vote on Trump's crimes as soon as humanly possible. (That's it. That's the tweet.)

Enough of the delays -- it's well past time to hold Trump accountable.
