I see in this clip that former State Sec @JohnKerry is still repeating the discredited line about "hardliners vs moderates" in the Iranian regime. They pulled a good cop/bad cop routine on you and you're still none the wiser?
@JohnKerry The *only* way for a dictatorship to reform is to become less of a dictatorship. The Iranian regime "reformists" have demonstrated repeatedly that that's not their agenda or their interest.
@JohnKerry The current moment in the Middle East was *not* inevitable and is *not* the singular result of Trump's breaking of the Iran Deal. Rather it's a result of the Iran Deal itself, which only led the Iranian regime and its IRGC to become more brazen and expansionist.
@JohnKerry Yes, Trump breaking the Iran Deal was stupid. But let's not pretend that the Iran Deal did not increase regional instability, increase political risk across the region, and was in fact written with Syrian blood. Because it was all of these things and more.
@JohnKerry And here's the thing. I'm 42 years old I was 33 when the Syrian uprising started in 2011. If I live to a 100 years I will never forgive nor will I ever forgive those who enabled Assad. That list is long, and starts with the Iranian regime, but down the line there's... Obama.
What you did and what you allowed to happen and what you looked the other way as it happened and what you enabled to happen - that's not going away. Ever. A century or two from now, it's not going away. We will never forget or forgive.
