The guy that crashed into and drove through a Chicago area mall was charged with terrorism in Illinois, but they don't have a motive and it seems Illinois law defines terrorism as "any act that causes substantial damage to any building containing 5 more businesses."
Police said they had no reason to believe he was targeting anyone or any business specifically and made no mention about a health condition, which they originally said could have been a possibility.

I'm guessing a health condition has now been ruled out.
No idea if he was tested for drugs and alcohol, but I'm sure he was as it's probably standard procedure.

So, if no drugs, no health condition, no accident, why would he crash into the mall like that?

I guess he's not telling police why he did it, either.

Shokin said Biden interfered to prevent Firtash from returning to Ukraine.

Firtash was arrested in Austria in 2014 & freed on bond pending extraditon to the US. Then a judge nixed extradition to the US claiming it was politically motivated...

Then a higher Vienna court ruled in 2017 that Firtash COULD be extradited back to the US. Firtash attorneys have since re-opened the case to delay extradition, though, as of July 2019.

1. If you are reporting on @KimFoxxforSA & the resistance that she is getting from police, you MUST realize that DA'S exercising discretion INDEPENDENTLY is a "reform" in #Chicago. Before Foxx, generations of SAs were intimidated by #police.
2. They were taught to NEVER question an officer even if a suspect was dead. They gave"deference" and "respect" of officers, and relinquished their discretion to officers. To question an officer, was a sign of "disrespect." They called it prosecuting with "blinders" on.
3. If a SA did not "step in line" to these rules, police would stop coming for trials & blacklist them in the office. Whistle blowers had cases taken from them and upper management would participate in this. One manager threw an ashtray at a DA when he tried to whistle-blow

In February 2015, Amira Abase (15*), #ShamimaBegum (16*) & Kadiza Sultana (15*), travelled to #Syria from UK via Turkey. They went to become "#ISIS brides". Till this day, I still don't know how they were not stopped or questioned at any port of exit/entry.

The reason I say this, is that few weeks later after the girls left the UK, I was travelling back to the UK from Jordan, via Turkey. When I got to the UK, I was detained under #Schedule7 of the #Terrorism Act 2000.

Police said because I was alone & had come from Turkey & Jordan, & taking into account foreigners (#Muslims) using those countries to enter Syria, they wanted to have a chat. During the questioning, I was asked about my opinion of the 3 girls (I heard in the news about them).

For all those @NRA lobbyists downplaying the tragedy in #Illinois and resisting expanding a system that has blocked over 3.5 million gun sales to felons, domestic abusers, and other people who aren’t allowed to have guns under existing law, please consider the #facts.
The gunman who killed five people in his workplace after he was fired never should have been able to buy a gun. He was a felon, and as such, a legally prohibited gun purchaser.

Illinois FOID based on conviction records from within the PAST FIVE YEARS - in this case, the aggravated assault in Mississippi in the 90s.
