Remember @FareedZakaria said @realDonaldTrump became President of the United States the day he ordered airstrikes against Syria?

I always thought it was the day American voters made him President.

What do they think about "boots on the ground" military intervention in Syria?
@FareedZakaria @realDonaldTrump American voters barely supported a limited airstrike in Syria, 50% to 41%, at the height of the baby pictures. And still, it was historically VERY low comparing only Gallup (let's try to be apples to apples, folks).

Again, that was not for a prolonged military presence.
@FareedZakaria @realDonaldTrump . @TuckerCarlson: "For once Americans are coming home from a Middle Eastern tarpit. We ought to be celebrating this."

"Not in Washington D.C. They're apoplectic. It's a betrayal. Not of Americans. That doesn't matter to them."
@FareedZakaria @realDonaldTrump @TuckerCarlson One more, one more.

Democrats all of a sudden care about the Kurds, whom Barack Obama abandoned for real in Northern Iraq.

But more recently, only 33% of Democrats supported the airstrike when @realDonaldTrump ordered it. Now, they're staunch defenders of war, of course.
@FareedZakaria @realDonaldTrump @TuckerCarlson I lied. There's more.

Gallup worded the question in Syria as follows:

"Next, we have a question about the missile airstrikes the United States has launched against Syria. Do you approve or disapprove of this U.S. military action against Syria?"

Only missile airstrikes.
@FareedZakaria @realDonaldTrump @TuckerCarlson In sum, Gallup polling on military action dating back to 1983, finds support for "missile airstrikes" in Syria among the lowest of any of these actions.

Again, missile airstrikes.

Yet, now, these people are pretending prolonged boots on the ground is some freakin' consensus.
