Interesting timing, indeed. There were also some 'non-compliant' FISA Queries on 12/1/17, the day Flynn plead guilty. Then another wave from 12/7/17-12/11/17 after Judge Contreras was removed.

The March queries look directed at metadata on FBI personnel & contractors. Leak hunt?
It is odd, they say OGC & NSD both advised they didn't think that query should be run. Then the FBI division ran the query anyway, but they say they never looked at the results of the query.
I haven't found the case that was a footnote in an earlier report. The one where an FBI supervisor was allegedly running FISA Queries on his employees for 'case management' purposes to see how busy his or her people were. There is a query noted aimed at looking at FBI documents.

So what would it look like if the same people who tried to frame Trump in 2016, also tried to set up Joe Biden by using his idiot son to make Joe look dirty?
What if in investigating Biden's corruption, we find that most of it was a set up to rig the DNC primary for Hillary?
What if Joe didn't run in 2016 because some oligarchs aligned with the Clintons offered Hunter some deals for the purpose of having dirt to release on him if he ran?

If they set up Hunter & blackmailed Joe with it, do you think he might be pretty pissed off about it?

The picture in the first slide raises a question for me. It notes that 302s related to Mueller's obstruction of justice case contain almost no grand jury information. Which means Mueller did not seriously investigate it if he didn't use GJ authorities.
They used a grand jury extensively for the Manafort & other portions of the case. But when it came time to investigate Andy McCabe's obstruction charges against Trump it looks like they didn't take it too seriously. If Mueller was out to get Trump, why did he just let this go?
It makes it sound like Mueller patted McCabe on the head & said "Don't worry Andy, we'll take it from here. I'm going to put Top Men on the case, Top Men..."

Let's take a look at the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court ruling that the FBI's use of FISA 702 Queries was unconstitutional violating the 4th Amendment and the FISA statute. This thread will look at the DOJ process of 'auditing' FBI compliance with FISA minimization rules
In the past the DOJ National Security Division gave the FISC a less than clear level of transparency into how the FBI used FISA 702. But in April of 2018, the Trump DOJ gave more details & lead the court to not like what it saw! Leading them to rule it unconstitutional.
First the FBI is running more than 3 million queries per year! But they are only auditing about 10% of those queries to ensure compliance with FISA. Which might be adequate if there were good processes in place, but it gets much worse!
