Turkey has been our ally in NATO for seventy years. They fear the emergence of an independent Kurdish state because of historical conflicts between the two peoples.

Let us be clear, the neoconservatives in Washington don't care about the lives of the Kurdish people any more than the millions they've already killed in the Middle East --- they just want any excuse to continue the wars and keep our soldiers permanently in the region.
@realDonaldTrump is right to bring our troops home from Northern Syria. The people of the region can find their own solutions for peace.
