Since I’ve been doing more TV/video interviews and panels etc. I’ve had to pay more attention to my appearance than I ever have in my life. If you don’t think shitty people latch on to your looks to smear you or question your credibility, then I don’t know what to tell you.
I mean, they do no matter what but at least looking polished frightens a lot of the worst ones, because they’re easily intimidated lol
But personal appearance is heavily fraught, especially when you’re a woman. I have no idea how to deal with this shit most days, so I stay inside and tweet instead
