While the ousted ambassador to Ukraine testifies that Trump has abandoned diplomats and undermined State’s mission, Trump officially nominates a new ambassador to Russia. 
Perhaps most remarkable: Yovanovitch just told lawmakers that it was Sullivan - the new nominee to Russia - who told her she had done nothing wrong, per NYT.
HMM: Rep. Plaskett just told reporters that Yovanovitch was answering questions under subpoena — but no subpoena has been publicly announced, which means Yovanovitch may have asked for one in order to testify.
