It looks like UK may ask for a technical extension on understanding that UK is leaving. This will enable Johnson to fight a Brexit election.
This sounds good for remainers but may be fatal.

Remainers being lulled into complacency that extension = Johnson disaster = 2nd referendum chance = Brexit dies.
Problem is technical extension + EU Agreement in principle puts parliament in nasty position. They must fight it but don’t count on EU. We have to do this ourselves.
