jealous of this @KurtWagner8 scoop on Zuckerberg referring a few staffers to the Buttigieg campaign bloomberg.com/news/articles/…
It’s not that big a deal for Zuck to refer someone who asks for referral to a candidate he knows

And the Zuck-Buttigieg relationship has been greatly exaggerated

BUT, as with most things, perception matters more than reality. And Zuck is now a toxic brand in Democratic politics
Another related point:

Buttigieg's greatest strength in Silicon Valley politics is that he went to Harvard at the same time as a group of people who today have enormous influence in the industry.

While his age has drawbacks, early 2000's Harvard is a well waiting to be tapped.
Here's the story on the Zuckerberg-Buttigieg relationship:

They were introduced ahead of Buttigieg's 2017 run for DNC chair by Joe Green, who went to Harvard with both of them and later worked at Facebook.

Then when Zuck wanted to visit Indiana, Buttigieg volunteered to host.
Zuckerberg and Buttigeig did not know each other at Harvard.

They got to know one another in 2017 -- and it should not be surprising to hear that Zuckerberg is not accepting new BFFLs as one of the richest people in the world.

Almost more of a business contact than a friend.
