After ~65 hours of testimony — along with public comments from Trump and his cronies — a “portrait is emerging of a #QuidProQuo that evolved over time, with Trump **progressively upping the ante when his demands were not met**.”

Taylor & Hill testified that by early July, #Ukraine learned from Trump emissaries that Zelenskiy wouldn’t get a WH visit unless he agreed to Rudy’s demand to publicly commit to probe Ukrainian interference in the 2016 election and Burisma.

Zelenskiy didn’t get his WH visit.🤨

Sondland’s testimony alone “described a tit-for-tat arrangement that meets the basic definition of a #QuidProQuo.” He acknowledged that the conditions (WH visit↔️#Ukraine investigations) were “so clear” that he and Kurt Volker conveyed them to the Ukrainians.🤬
