THREAD: Flynn 302 originally released in Dec 2018 in a moderately redacted version. The appendix of new submission includes an almost entirely unredacted version. I've done exercise of seeing what was redacted. Other points of interest to be discussed later.
1/ Following was redacted: "FLYNN described SERGUN as someone the U.S. could work with."
2/ redacted: Flynn received payment from speakers' bureau; that he visited Ambassador prior to RT dinner and that he received DIA threat briefing prior to travel.

Why would this be redacted?
3/ redacted: that FLYNN named primary threats as China, Russia, Iran, North Korea and ISIS and that "if US could neutralize one of the four, or even better, to leverage their cooperation fighting a common enemy such as terrorism, that would be a success for US national security"
4/ most of Flynn's affirmative recollection of his Dec 29 call with Kislyak was redacted. That
a) Kislyak asked him to set-up a VTC between Trump and Putin;
b) suggested US send an observer to Astana conference, attended by Russia, Turkey, Iran and Syrian opposition groups.
4b/ redacted: That Flynn told FBI that "while Russia wanted to take the lead for peace in the Middle East, but the U.S. needed to be the leader, particularly to keep Turkey under the U.S.’s wing. FLYNN added there was a complete lack of engagement from the prior administration".
5/ redacted: closed door meeting with Kislyak, Kushner at Trump Tower before Thanksgiving. There were "sensitive" meetings between Trump team and foreign countries prior to inauguration. Flynn: "no personal relationships between leaders of many countries and prior administration"
6/ Egypt was redacted in report of discussions on Israeli settlements
7/ later in the interview and 302, Strzok returned to Dec 28 call. Once again redacted was Flynn's statement that call was about proposed Putin-Trump videoconference and the Astana conference.

Why would this be redacted?
8/ Hard to see principled basis for most of these redactions. It does seem to me that redactions nearly always redacted content that was favorable to Flynn
9/ @SidneyPowell1's remarkable brief pointed out important inconsistencies between the handwritten notes and the 302 in respect to key charges in indictment. I've been parsing documents, following her footsteps and will discuss what she found, with some supplement, in next thread
