His new research w/ @snaidunl & Reich just released today on @equitablegrowth shows firsthand knowledge of strikes, like having children affected by walkouts, increased support for strikes as a way to use collective action to improve labor conditions. equitablegrowth.org/working-papers… 4/5
These actions are part of a broader effort from grassroots groups to policymakers to revive the labor movement. We also need policies and institutions to support worker power, but grassroots collective action is key to making this successful. 5/5
