She's the candidate for Battersea, a Labour-Tory marginal where Corbyn launched his campaign on Thursday

Some significant disquiet in Cabinet over No10 aides' attacks on EU leaders in the last 24 hours. I'm told Nicky Morgan complained about the briefing to @JGForsyth and Julian Smith again warned that No Deal would be a disaster for the Union. 1.
@JGForsyth One Cabinet minister tells me: "Those of us who believe in a deal and care deeply about Northern Ireland and the Union made our points". And that was before the Merkel call briefing, which none of them saw as all had handed over their phones. 2.

Personally, I don't want a "People's Vote". It would be a bit like a criminal getting off on a technicality. We all know that Cameron fiddled 2016, mainly by not setting a supermajority requirement. Only #Tories promised to implement the outcome of that fiddled 1/5
2/5 referendum. So having to have 'another go at it' implies that there was some validity to the 2016 one; there wasn't- Cameron made sure of that. In the same way that the Supreme Court's decision yesterday put aside Johnson's fiddled prorogation attempt, parliament
3/5 should put aside Cameron's fiddled referendum...because it was fiddled. If, in future, after revocation of A50, parliament decides to have another referendum on the "#EU membership question" (unfiddled) then fine; but having a referendum isn't the way to

NEW: I'm hearing that Jeremy Corbyn and Theresa May could meet tonight to discuss the latest on Brexit talks - still tbc though.
Sources say Jeremy Corbyn told shadow cabinet he expects PM to offer:
- customs agreement that it is basically a union
- Olly Robbins will try to negotiate a say on trade deals w Brussels
- wld only last to next gen election & then up to parties to decide manifestos...
Suggestion is that May wants to table withdrawal agreement bill in HoC *at same time* as workers' rights bill (that guarantees to match EU changes as a minimum) is brought into House of Lords. But (and there's lots of buts)...

Absolute scenes on the committee corridor. At least 250 Tory MPs, journalists and peers circling room 14 for the 5pm 1922 meeting. It’s getting very hot and sticky.
Asking MPs how they’re feeling as they enter room 14. One responds “happy, it’s Christmas!” Real mixture of expressions.
Another cheerful May-supporting MP says they’re confident she’s going to win - easily.
