Its as close as you'll get to walking distance to Rupp Arena and still possibly be able to find parking.
I don't think you'll see an antifa or such presence here, BUUUUT the local GOP offices have had their windows smashed multiple times over the years, so keep your eye open.

Food wise, all you have to do is shoot down broadway away from downtown to get to food, if you're not eating at Rupp Arena. Blue Reef Sushi, Cook Out, Bad Wolf Burger, Buffalo Wild Wings, a few are kinda in walking distance (Cook Out and Bad Wolf specifically).
If you get lost, just think of the 5/3 building as the center of Lexington, and New Circle is the loop that goes around the city. If there's no traffic lights you're on the west side of town (Frankfort, Louisville, etc) if there are you're facing east (towards WV, etc)
Other than that, have fun. Downtown's usually a clusterfuck due to UK basketball games, so don't be surprised when the locals are utterly nonplussed by your presence.
