NEW: Turkey's state-run bank Halkbank refuses to accept service of the indictment, their attorneys at the firm King & Spalding tell a federal judge.

They ask for a "limited" appearance to challenge jurisdiction and request recusal.

Halkbank's arraignment's scheduled tomorrow.
Remember: Federal prosecutors declared Halkbank a "fugitive" last month.

In 2016, gold trader Reza Zarrab's attorneys tried (and failed) to recuse Judge Berman because of his attendance at a conference years earlier in Istanbul, where the judge observed that the rule of law "is under some attack in Turkey.”
The judge ordered federal prosecutors to reply to Halkbank's latest bid "forthwith," presumably, in advance of tomorrow morning's hearing.

* terms of terminations. (Not provided.)
@CourthouseNews The answers to the third and fourth questions appear to be more carefully worded. The Senators asked about communication by Trump Organization or its Trump Towers Istanbul's owner with the Turkish government.

For the last two answers, the second part of the question is ignored.
