Wed morning I replied to "Canada Proud" BS story about #Trudeau being anti-veteran (despite him re-opening the 9 VA offices Harper shut) w/my opinion that they r disinformation group & racists. Later their alleged lawyer @rpoconnor tweeted demand I delete "Libellous" (sic) tweet
First, the irony of being called 'libelous' by a group that thrives on making such statements & had just made one. Then lawyer @rpoconnor got piled on by my online posse & deleted the tweet & blocked me. Is he withdrawing his complaint? Or cowering?
To be fair, I don't know for sure if Canada Proud is an officially racist organization, only that it publishes what are considered anti-immigration screeds online & has its events attended by groups of racists claiming to be members. Walk like a duck, quack like a duck?
According to research done by FU_Politics, Canada Proud won't divulge their significant sources of income, though major media linked their $$$ to corporations w/ties to Conservative parties. So CanadaProud - if you aren't a racist group spreading disinformation to support
wing causes, I've done you a favour letting you know that racist material has appeared frequently on ur site (over-eager interns?) &, that ur funded by Conservative-tied corporations & many self-identified members are vocal racists. Glad to do you a solid, Canada Proud!
