Firstly, here's @rdevitoboutin announcing he's been selected to be the Parliamentary Candidate for Bristol South
Until yesterday, he was a candidate in Cornwall.

Let me know.

In @journoamrogers article there was someone else listed by the Brexit Party for Bristol South.
Scott Adams.
He doesn't appear to have a Bristol South Brexit Party Twitter account as yet.

@journoamrogers as the Brexit Party candidate in two Bristol seats (South & East)
Nominations have to be in on Thursday. Remember this is to become an MP & run the country.
Three in Bristol South
Two in Bristol East
Including one who has been named by the Brexit Party as standing in one, and announced himself he's standing in the other.
It appears that the muddle can be slightly cleared.
Bristol South was originally Neil Hipkiss (his Bristol East listing was erroneous).
Scott Adams was originally Bristol East (his Bristol South listing was an error).
However, we still have 4 candidates for 2 seats
At the start of this week, Brexit Party said:
Bristol South - Neil Hipkiss
Bristol East- Scott Adams
After the Farage announcement, 2 more candidates self-announced:
Bristol South- Robert de Vito Boutin (from Cornwall)
Bristol East- Tim Page
I've just had sight of an email from one of our 4 hopefuls out to a Brexit Party mailing list, asking for signatures for the nomination form.
#GeneralElection2019
"I was until yesterday campaigning full on in North Dorset.
"Unfortunately, I'm not now able to fight the most treacherous Tory remainer there
(Narrator: He's referring to @KerryMP there.)
Mr Page later adds: "Help! I'm in the constituency today and need 10 signatures on my nomination forms to get me into the race."

Has he already submitted his papers?
Can the same people sign two different candidates' forms?
What if the Brexit Party end up with two candidates?
Back to #BristolSouth where Robert de Vito Boutin, formerly of 3 different constituencies in Cornwall, has staked his claim firmly to be Bristol South's Brexit Party candidate.
Two things about that tho.
Firstly, Neil's Twitter still proudly says Bristol South.
Secondly & perhaps more importantly, yesterday the Brexit Party told us its Bristol West candidate was Gbade Adetona.
It confirms:
#BristolSouth= @rdevitoboutin
#BristolEast= @BrizzleTim Page
It does not confirm #BristolWest, which appears now to be a straight contest between Neil Hipkiss (latterly of BristolSouth) and Gbade Adetona.
So perhaps West is being decided right now.
Gbade's name means 'wind' in the Fon language of Benin, which is lovely.

It will be the final day, as today's the deadline for submitting nomination papers.
1 candidate in Bristol East, who came from Dorset on Tues pushing out another candidate who has disappeared
1 candidate in Bristol South, who came from Cornwall on Tues, pushing Monday's candidate to Bristol West
And now 2 declared candidates in Bristol West
I am still waiting to hear back from The Brexit Party Limited on Bristol West and Bristol North West
The man the Brexit Party says is the South candidate agrees with the party that Neil is for Bristol West
The Brexit Party Limited have not, repeat NOT, yet confirmed Neil Hipkiss is the Brexit Party candidate in Bristol West.
That was on Monday afternoon. But as we've seen, a lot has changed since then.
And Robert de Vito Boutin beat Neil Hipkiss to win the Brexit Party candidacy for Bristol South
Neil seems to have gone into some kind of play-off with Gdabe Adetona for Bristol West
Rock paper scissors?
Drawing lots?
A quiz?
Did Nigel Farage decide it?
As the wise @GreenBrizzle points out, the nominations deadline is actually Thursday and I don’t know what day it is.
There’s STILL TIME for more twists and turns, and to confirm who all 4 candidates are.
But, there is a breakthrough.....
Well, the name at least.... the bio still says South
Honestly I am not making this up...
He’d been the candidate south of the river for two and a half days.
If so, there’s one man you should be worried about.
Yes. What has happened to Gbade Adetona?
He appears to have become collateral damage as candidates from *checks notes* Dorset & Cornwall moved in to neighbouring Bristol constituencies.
(*until 2017).
And the MOST REMAINY constituency in the UK
The Tories came 2nd in 2017.
This was because the Lib Dem & Green vote collapsed as @ThangamMP increased her majority for Labour by SEVEN times.
She’s got one of the biggest majorities in the country.
So even tho Tories are technically 2nd, & even tho there’s already 1 pact, Brexit Party Ltd are standing
There’s still hope for him.
There’s more important things in the West Country happening right now...
