It’s important that we understand autogynephilia as a sexual practice rather than a simple identity issue. They’re not female; they’re sexually attracted to the idea of being female. That matters because, unlike homosexuality, trans rights involve giving people access to others.
When someone comes out as gay, it doesn’t change where they can go and how security measures are applied to them. It would be insane to call access to nonconsenting groups of people, all for the sake of your sexual identity, a human right.

AGP is a sexual identity.
But it’s not a sexual orientation. These men aren’t oriented to a particular class of people. No. They’re attracted to a specific script, one not based in reality, one that requires their sexual partners to surrender their own experience of the world for the sake of the AGP’s.
The phrase we’re programmed with is “trans women are women,” and that’s because everything would change if we told it true — “trans ‘women’ are powerfully attracted to the idea of being women.”
Lots of gay people want to be straight but never can be. And, believe it or not, you can want to be gay and not be gay. I see it in straight ftms a lot, women who’ve been traumatized by hetero interactions and relationships.

When it comes to orientation, we recognize this.
So why are so many people now saying that wanting to be a woman - something far more objectively measurable than sexual orientation - makes someone a woman? And why are we willing to validate this fantasy by giving these male fetishists access to places men aren’t allowed?
The answer, of course, is that our society’s lip service to feminism has turned out to be worthless. This was the great test of 3rd wave feminism - would we very much mind handing over our very identity to men who want it for their sexual practices? - and it failed utterly.
It turns out our “me too” empowerment extended only as far as we had male permission to go. Lesbian women, it turns out, don’t get their woke sisters’ backing when our sacred spaces are infiltrated by rape culture. Consent culture, ironically, always required male permission.
God. We thought we were doing so well. We were idiots, analyzing “Baby, It’s Cold Outside” and ignoring the production of porn depicting women being raped, pissed on, strangled. We boycotted homophobic pasta while supporting the companies who made “lesbian” a porn genre.
We missed the big threat, the pattern that was obvious if we’d only been allowed to notice — Everything in our culture that serves the male sex drive is untouchable.

That’s why transgenderism has the power it holds today: it represents the greatest sexual wish of countless men.
This issue feels complicated sometimes, and there are certainly a lot of fine details we don’t understand yet. But, at its core, it’s simple: Some men want something from women. And they have no right, and giving it to them is harming and will continue to harm us.
The conflict at the heart of the gender movement is whether women are allowed to say “no.”

Can anything belong to us? Is there any disrespect our society will collectively reject on our behalf?

How much of our truth exists in the sexual service of men?

That’s the question.
What’s being decided right now isn’t actually about sex or gender or identity. It’s fundamentally about consent. A group of men want to utilize all of womanhood for their sexual practices. Most of us don’t want that. Will it matter?

This debate is about consent, not gender.
