AARP, the marketing arm of UnitedHealth/OptumRX, has people in dinosaur suits demanding price controls to increase their profits -- even though it means fewer new cures for seniors.

And they hired Obamacare/Hillary ad makers GMMB for this farce.
AARP pushed Obamacare when seniors opposed it 14-to-1 to pad their own bottom line. They promised health care costs would go down. It was a lie and they made billions of dollars from it.

Don’t let @AARP (i.e., @UHC and @OptumRx) do to Medicare what they did with Obamacare.

@WSJ Ironically, this is exactly the kind of manipulation and gatekeeping that Google and its surrogates always claimed ISPs would engage in unless they were subject to heavy net neutrality regulation -- which never happened.
@WSJ But rather than use this behavior from Google as fodder to say they deserve the heavy-handed regulation they lobbied to impose on competitors, we should take a different lesson from the net neutrality wars, which were ultimately resolved with a *transparency rule*.

Spectrum is a massive economic and geostrategic opportunity and challenge.

And the mid-band issue is now at a massive inflection point.

The great @AjitPaiFCC has his priorities exactly right on this.
The first two points are key. As much mid-band as quickly as possible. Because otherwise China deploys 5G first and sets the de facto global standards. And an up $18B hit to consumers for a two year delay per @WillRinehart.
