From my reading newspapers across a dozen languages, my sense is that the Islamist lobby is extremely powerful in the west. There is very little chance of any of us being able to write in any journal/newspaper of consequence in the west on Hindu issues in a pro-Hindu manner.
Either we will be forced to write on Hindu issues in less important newspapers/magazines/journals, or else, risk losing that entire audience itself. If, for instance, if we were to try writing in French to Le Monde or Le Figaro, I am very sure we will be refused publication.
I am not comfortable in German or Dutch, or Scandinavian languages, but I would imagine the situation to be very similar in those countries too. Maybe someone more familiar with these languages can opine on this point. Will Der Spiegel or Die Welt publish pro-Hindu pieces?
So, where does our opportunity lie? Let us examine the opportunities coldly, region by region.

Eastern/Central Europe: Islamists are weak here, but there is a lot of religious and racial bias against Hindus. Neither the conservatives, nor the Euro establishment will publish us.
That leaves four possible regions for us to concentrate on. Russia, Japan, SE Asia, and Israel. While the English press in both Russia and Israel are controlled by liberals with little love for India, there is a local segment in both Russia and Israel that is quite sympathetic.
But that means writing in Russian/Hebrew on pro-Hindu topics. This would reach a significant segment of the local population, and would also build a local constituency there. Also, these people are much more approachable than either snooty liberals, or arrogant racists.
About south east Asia, I have no idea. But I would guess that the situation in Malaysia, Indonesia [except Bali], Philippines and possibly even Singapore is unfriendly to a pro-Hindu sentiment. Can someone opine on writing in Bali/Burma/Thailand/Cambodia/Vietnam/Laos newspapers?
The last and probably most important is Japan. Again, I have no idea, but articles I read in English from Japanese press are not very favourable to us. Maybe there is a Japanese segment that we can try to engage? And I had forgotten Taiwan. What is the sentiment there?
