Today the Senate rammed through one of Trump’s worst judicial nominees yet — and that’s saying something. Steven Menashi has written bigoted and inflammatory pieces about women, Muslims, the LGBTQ community, and other racial minorities. He worked alongside Stephen Miller in the
White House to help craft some of the administration’s most cruel immigration policies, and in the Department of Education to help Betsy DeVos roll back protections for sexual assault survivors and students from marginalized communities. Moreover, he is not remotely qualified to
be a lifetime federal judge — he has never even tried a case or made oral arguments.

reaching and devastating consequences that will be felt for decades. If we have any hope of rectifying the damage he has wreaked in our legal system, we must take back the Senate next year.
