We know that Steele’s attributed “source” is the former head of SVR Trubnikov. That’s because have notes of Steele’s meeting with State Dept Kavalec. But we also know that Steele lied about everything. And if Trubnikov was a real source, no way would he be exposed.
There is no evidence that Steele ever met with Trubnikov. Steele attributes his “sourcing” to third parties. But there is someone who did meet Trubnikov (although not as a source!). That someone would be Professor Stefan Halper.
And here you have it, folks! Halper meets with former head of SVR in May 2015, and in July 2016 FBI launches Counter Intelligence investigation into Trump based on a clear Halper lie. @realDonaldTrump
Now for the biggest Halper/Steele lie. The bombshell of the Steele Dossier was Sources A and B reporting that Putin was “cultivating, supporting and assisting Trump for at least 5 years”. Source A was “a senior Russian Foreign Ministry figure.” Source B was “a former top level..
...intelligence officer still active in the Kremlin.” Both of these “sources” are the same person: Trubnikov was both former Deputy Foreign Minister and head of Foreign Intelligence Service. But he wasn’t a real source for Steele because there is no way he would’ve been exposed
Steele probably heard the biggest lie in American history, that the President is a foreign asset, from Halper. Halper has a history of dirty tricks and met Trubnikov twice in 5 years at Cambridge University. Halper is likely to have falsely attributed the lie to the Russian.
In their desperation to make @realDonaldTrump lose the election, Steele and Halper made outrageously false claims about Trump and his campaign colluding with the Russians. CIA, FBI and MSM accepted these heinous lies because they were also desperate for Trump to lose. He didn’t.
Pentagon paid Halper from a likely FBI/CIA slush fund to conduct his black op. Audit by Sen Grassley shows Halper received payments in 2016 for “interviewing” former Ru Deputy Foreign Minister and intelligence officers (Trubnikov). But audit shows he didn’t. Halper made it up.
