A lot of us are finding it hard to Forgive because we've heard or&seen our parents keep malice with people for ages they never forgave,they have indirectly unknowingly taught us how to keep malice,how to hold grudges with people and never let go

...no matter who preaches whatever about forgiveness and letting go to us. And it has become a part of us that we are still struggling battling with forgiving people who hurt us,lots of us have listened to touching messages on forgiveness in churches severally that made us...

..make up our minds to forgive as a result of listening to those messages but soon we get home and start feeling some sort of heaviness and are reminded of how we previously made up our minds not to forgive. Forgiving gives peace of mind you'll be so glad you forgave......

We always try to find justifiable reasons to hold grudges and i know there are serious extreme cases of getting hurt that has to do with life and death. It takes the grace,strength and wisdom of God which is possible to be able to truly forgive and let go in such cases.

An important part of the Lord's Prayer is the part that says "And forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us" When we pray for forgivesness of sins from God we are telling God to forgive us also as we have forgiven our fellow men who wronged us. Forgive

God in his infinite mercy forgives us daily and expects us to extend that same love,forgiveness and mercy to people around us. Child of God you can forgive that person who has hurt your feelings,wronged you in the past&keep a distance from them if it helps your peace of mind.....

You musnt compulsorily be close to them again to avoid reoccurence of issues but be sure you have forgiven them genuinely from your heart as distant as they are from you,your primary assignment is just to forgive from your heart and let go in obedience to God.....

The song writer wrote "Unforgiveness lurks within your heart some folks that you will never let go,little foxes and secret faults will spring surprises on that final day". Eph 4:31 Says "Let all bitterness&wrath&anger&clamour&evil speaking be put away from you with all malice"...

Humanly speaking it hurts thinking about how badly you've been hurt by that person in the past but you can still forgive&let go.
Eph 4:32 "And be ye kind one to another,tender hearted,forgiving one another even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you". Grace and Peace yall❤.
