Not been around much last few days... back in the saddle properly now with seven days to go...
Today... Tories set out plans for 1st 100 days of govt if they win, inc promise of tax cutting budget in Feb and they'd put NHS cash in law, Labour says they'd hire 20k more teachers + outlines plans for homelessness
Labour still having to answer questions on antisemitism tho - leak of 53 page legal submission to Equalities Commission presents evidence from more than 70 witnesses - party says they have speeded up processes and improved things but document paints different picture
Document prepared by lawyers on behalf of Jewish Labour Movement - fair to say they parted company with Corbyn a while ago, but they had been affiliated with the party for a century

Back on road again today for leaders’ last push - nature and conduct of the campaign real mismatch with the scale of the choice
Huge moment for country but we’ve heard SO many times voters say they don’t like ‘either of them’ - people’s thinking really dominated by the 2 big characters in the campaign - no one is making it to No 10 on a surge of anything like enthusiasm
People seem fed up of politicians telling them how divided they are - most people been quite rightly getting on with their lives while Westminster (mirrored by conversation on here) has torn itself apart

The margins in lots of seats might be very narrow - so those factors and parties' plans to get vote out could matter hugely - gap btw success and failure for Johnson is extremely small no matter how many fish he manhandles
Brass neck's been one of central features of this campaign - Johnson on checks (remember he DID admit back in Oct there'd be extra checks under Brexit deal however much he obfuscates over it now - define check, and define customs declaration), or Corbyn on watching the Queen

Which noone, including jouurnalists (hands up) seemed to notice - there is a lot of interesting stuff in the documents which are mainly not about the health service
Documents show there has been a lot of work going on btw US and UK officials about potential trade deal after Brexit

The sentiment that Democrats are revolting against Nancy Pelosi has been floating around the last few days. Let's take a look at the associated Twitter activity.
We downloaded recent tweets containing the phrase "revolt against Pelosi" and filtered out the retweets of @tburages's tweet commenting on the phenomenon, leaving us with 1582 tweets from 1471 accounts.
172 of these 1471 accounts (11.7%) have default profile pics. This is unusually high - most datasets we look at have somewhere in the neighborhood of 3% - and likely indicates bot activity.
