The more you learn about the @EuroParl_EN (EP) "delegates" visiting Srinagar, the clearer it is that views will be one-sided (forget the irony of Indian MPs being barred from visiting). ANI provided a complete list of the visitors. [Thread]...
Here is a summary of each delegate's affiliations. Only 1 is a member of the EP India Committee (called, confusingly, India Delegation). 3 are substitutes. Only 4 bothered to speak in EP Kashmir discussion (more on this later). Atleast 21 "delegates" are right-wing party members.
There are 2 Alexandra Phillips in the EP. One (@BrexitAlex) is a Brexit Party member and the other (@AlexForEurope) a Green Party member. Given the other UK visitors, most likely it is the former, making it 22 of the 27 with right-wing/populist affiliations.

Recently decided to read Golwalkar/Savarkar's writings from cover to cover. Not having had the benefit of a Shakha education and with a nation-wide NRC looming, thought it'd be prudent to start NOW. Began with Golwalkar's "Bunch of Thoughts" & ran into problems from the get-go.
The 1st chapter, World Mission, discusses whether the "task of re-organizing the national life of Hindus taken up by the RSS [is] in conformity with the spirit of world unity and human good."
He says Hindu seers thought of universal unity & welfare since time immemorial, long before modern thinkers came up with it. Par for the course, since most propaganda claims global primacy for itself, its adherents & their progenitors.

I'm giving a talk on worldbuilding tomorrow and was reminded of a thing that happened in college. So I wanna tell the story of how my college Mock Trial team effectively broke Mock Trial.
I'd done some theater in college and knew I was eventually gonna go to law school so when a girl I had a crush on asked me to join the team and play the part of some witnesses, it was a no-brainer.
One of the trials we did was a defamation case. I'm a bit iffy on the details as it was over a decade ago, but the plaintiff was, I think, an aspiring politician. (I think his name was Walton.) And the defendant was a news magnate, Berkshire, I think.

This new rule is aimed at program integrity— namely making sure only people who are in the exchange & getting a subsidy should be.

Nothing wrong with that. Government always has to make a trade off between preventing fraud & how much to hassle people. 2/
