Trump/McConnell announces some scary doomsday fantasy. Everyone treats it as if it were real, instead of realizing it's impossible. Everyone is too busy cowering over the scary fantasy to realize Trump/McConnell is quietly carrying out some other evil plan. Stop falling for it.
They're aren't even particularly skilled at it. Trump doesn't even try to make his head fakes sound believable. McConnell has announced five different impeachment strategies so far. But they know liberals love to take scary bullshit as fact, and they use it against us every time.
Of all the evil things Trump has announced, he hasn't actually done almost any of them. Of all the evil things Trump has done, he never announced almost any of them. He's so predictable. When you ignore this pattern, you do real harm to your own side.
Some of y'all are just addicted to sitting there and feeling outraged, so you seize on every evil threat Trump and the GOP make, even when you know it's not going to happen. But y'all aren't trying to win. Please get out of the way of those of us who are trying to fight and win.
Would you rather sit there and do nothing and feel righteously indignant and lose and watch the world burn, or would you rather get out there and do the hard work of winning and make things better? If you choose not to contribute, at least stop spreading Trump's bullshit for him.
