every single person who has ever said "more transit" also meant "also build grocery stores where people actually live and stop building gargantuan malls that people drive 15 miles to visit"

absolutely nobody alive believes that you should have to take four buses to travel 25 miles to visit your doctor. the whole fucking point of "fuck cars build transit" is to get rid of cars *so that we have to adapt to that as a society*
also nobody thinks people who live on a farm in the middle of nowhere should have to wait nine hours for a bus to go to town. nobody thinks that and even if they did your goddamn eyes and brain should tell you there's no risk of it ever becoming reality
