When Omoyele Sowore started, you mostly misconstrued his position. He said the DSS won’t exist metaphorically & you tagged it a hate speech. Today the DSS is a shadow of itself as transmogrified & balkanized as a prop to aid the handicap of the confused ruler. We are not afraid.
You have no case to prove yet use the court to denigrate our rule of law. You then claim to have a conscience when confronted about your serial human rights abuse? Nigeria will heal and this too shall pass. History will never be kind to vindictive tyrants ruining our fatherland.
For fear of sanctions they took a knee jerk decision, but this merely postpones the evil day, which is imminent regardless. This is our country, a democratic republic that will not yield to the devious attempt to make it a fiefdom by the draconian kakistokrats.
The likes of Omoyele Sowore need not do what they are doing but did it all the same. They have options yet choose to be a part of the New Nigeria for the sake of all our children and generations to come. History will be kind to disruptors & outliers who are unafraid.
Many years back all they would have done was to call in the mainstream media and pay them off to write their propaganda and brainwash the people. Sadly today in the 21st century, 70% of the population that are youth don’t read Newspapers neither watch the News.
The only media they endorse and approve is across Socialmedia platforms. This informs the need to setup draconian and ambiguous laws to shutdown the space and instill fear in the heart and minds of the people. That failed too.
Their smear campaign as backed by crumbs to the impoverished also have proven to be a serial and monumental waste in the past 10years. Some of us need not pay mind to their lies. Just know the level at which they fear us having realized we can’t be controlled or managed.
The fact that people deem your person intimidating doesn’t necessarily mean that you are oppressing anyone. Most times it is a confession by those who have tried to trap & ensnare you to no avail and are now terrified by your being. Each time you tweet their hearts palpitate.
Why should I censure myself just to make you feel secure? Why should I put out my light just for you to shine? Why do you need to attack anyone to be relevant? Why can’t you just be yourself and let others be? Why should the positive impact of others threaten you? Check yourself.
