I hope Mitch McConnell tries fo subpoena Joe Biden. It’ll be seen as massive overreach by swing voters. It’ll hurt Trump’s 2020 odds badly. It’ll hand the Senate to the Democrats.

I’m surprised how many of you seem to think McConnell just does whatever Trump wants. It’s never, ever worked that way. Trump’s batshit crazy self defeating ideas would have finished off him and McConnell a long time ago, if McConnell we’re willing to go along with the crazy shit
What most of you don’t get / refuse to accept about McConnell is that he’s a smart, savvy, rational villain. It’s why he’s survived on top this long. He’s not a mentally unstable ticking time bomb like Trump.
It’s also bizarre (and harmful to our side) that so many of you take McConnell at his word whenever he makes a hollow threat or floats an absurd idea. He pushes your buttons, and you eagerly let him scare you into paralysis every time. Stop allowing yourself to be played by him.
