Tomorrow (Dec 31) is the day that the ATRF Board appointments of Dr. Cathy Connolly MBA PhD ICD.d and Kareen Strangerlin CPA CA CFA CFP ICD.D expire. Travis chose not to reappoint them and instead appointed Rafi Tahmazian BA whose appointment begins Jan 1. #crony
Rafi is an oil and gas portfolio manager for @WBrettWilson at Canoe. And, apparently, a strong UCP supporter. Just do a Google search for his anti-Trudeau and anti-Notley rants. #petrosexual
The investment industry is definitely a male dominated industry. Sweeping two highly qualified women off the ATRF Board and replacing with a lesser qualified male I thought was too rich even for Travis.
ATRF had been recognized around Canada and North America for the gender diversity of its Board. #letusmovebackwards
