The saddest part of this is that because of the Labour Party’s institutional embrace of antisemitism, the membership are unlikely to vote for anyone who has taken a real stand on this issue. Go figure. 
I’m not sure who I will vote for, if I have a vote. But I may have to vote expediently (eg Keir Starmer, centre left, who was in the shadow cabinet so may have the confidence of enough members) rather than a cleaner break such as Nandy or Phillips who are unlikely to get support
Labour needs a major cultural and institutional overhaul, diminishing the petty, bullying, hardline culture within it, but there is no point imagining the membership selectorate doesn’t exist, or that it will suddenly ‘see the light’. This is a 5 and possibly 10 year project.
