This #NewYear2020 resolve to de-colonize.

There is nothing “secular” about #Welcome2020. This Calendar is Pope Gregory’s (though badly copied from India), the year and date chosen around the mythical “Jesus.”

It erases our own history & traditions.

No, not the planet. The Christian world uses Christian calendar. The Islamic world uses Islamic Calendar. China’s biggest celebration is the Chinese New Year per its own Calendar. But India uses?

How is New Year related to “Jesus”? When Church invented Jesus’s birthday as December 25, they picked “New Year” to mark Jesus’s circumcision.

So, to be accurate #NewYear is a celebration of cut-foreskin day

Lol. To “avoid confusion”? What was the confusion, Jesus was never born in December 25.

Not to avoid confusion but to appropriate and erase a pagan festival. Same idea in India today with “Jesus Bharatnatyam.”
