One thing that's not really talked about is the problem (UK based) detransitioners face when trying to revert back to their legal sex. Once you've got a GRC in your "aquired gender" they don't allow you to return to your original birth certificate in the UK birth register.

I am stuck in this "gender recognition register". If I want to be legally female again I am forced to apply for a 2nd GRC as if female is now my "acquired gender"

Part of the criteria you need to meet for a GRC:
-you've been diagnosed with gender dysphoria
-you've lived in your acquired gender for at least 2 years
This doesn't make any sense when you're detransitioning.

I wrote to the GEO but they responded with nothing substantial. Was basically told "that's that". I know there's supposed to be a GRA reform coming up, but I highly doubt they will consider my case. I feel stuck.
