But any attack is going to provoke Trump to “counterpunch,” because his narcissism won’t let him stand for anything that reveals the weak-ass man he actually is.

Unless he is removed, or some sane and rational human in the State Department (plainly not Secretary of the Rapture Pompeo) can convince him he’ll look worse and not better, it’s entire plausible that he will drop the bomb on Iran in the event of a response attack on US soil.
