#Iran is the hot topic these days and I've seen lots of theories floating around on social media about possibility of war with US. This thread will feature my two cents on the situation 👇 
Firstly, I don’t think so that war is about to happen. US will increase pressure on Iran, they have already sanctioned them heavily and forced the Oil/gas importers of Iran to back out and Iranian oil exports have fallen significantly within a year.

Now coming to main reasons and objectives US wants to achieve by this economic, diplomatic and military pressure. First objectives is that Iran cuts support to Houthis in Yemen, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Hamas and its proxy groups in Iraq or Syria which bothers Israel and US.
treasury.gov/press-center/p… US and Israel have always wanted to cut Iran's influence to make it focus inwards rather than meddling externally. Old 2007 sanctions suggest same.
Second objective US administration has which features hawks like Pompeo, Bolton, pro Israel Jewish son in law of President and President himself being close to Netanyahu & Israeli lobby is to get new harsher Nuclear deal on Iran which limits/ends its Ballistic Missile program too
Trump will build this pressure a lot to force Iran on to negotiation table on US terms, EU will tag along with US but a bit softer approach, Russian will openly side with Iran, they will never let Iran fall, as its their major ally or else whole region falls in to US control
So expect more of such tweets from US administration and President himself. Military maneuvering by US will increase too
Mossad and CIA however have been working since years on plans to raise a resistance movement against current regime from within Iran to over throw the regime, not much successful in propping it up and US war mongering will most likely have negative impact & unite Iranians.
US think tanks, Pentagon and Intelligence community however believes that harsher economic sanctions over the years could lead cause economic meltdown which may lead for more public to revolt against the regime. Sustained pressure to make Iran bow before US is their goal.
Israeli Zionists however want US to bomb Iranian Nuclear and missile facilities and they have been pushing for war from quite some time, they see Iran as their biggest threat. Given their influence its not entirely out of question that war might happen but probability is low.
