When you're so woke you think that interracial love is, like, super problematic.
This actually helps to explain my fundamental concern about certain forms of wokeness.

It's not that it's too radical or going too far.

It's that it undermines my core values, like the idea that more friendship and love between member of different groups is a Very Good Thing.
By the way, these ridiculous—yet logical—outgrowths of the new intellectual dispensation are why I'm less worried than some on this platform that wokeness will win the day.

99% of people in the world look at this s&*t and are both baffled and horrified by it.

That won't change.
The first submission the BuzzFeed editors selected to display under their bizarre "interracial love is oh-so-problematic" bot is from somehow who loves his white partner but now feels It's Bad to Date a White Guy™.

This is the sort of sentiment they HOPED to elicit.

WTF.
I don't judge the man who submitted that comment, btw. He is grappling with his relationship at a time when The Culture encourages him to view it as problematic.

But I do judge the people—including senior editors at Buzzfeed—who are complicit in making him feel that way.
