Many on the plane were Iranian-Canadians or Iranians who lived in #Canada and Canadian media have been publishing stories about the victims. It’s heart shredding. I can only imagine how their loved ones feel - out of their minds with grief.

Sultan Qaboos was longest-serving ruler in Arab world and one of the world’s longest-ruling autocrats. Imagine if someone that powerful and rich had come out? He did not use his power or wealth to decriminalize same-sex relations.

I have spoken in Lahore in 2016 and I was about to fly to Karachi last year to speak there when airspace was closed due to tension with India. ICYMI, both those cities are in Pakistan, you fucking ignoramus misogynist prick.
And I look forward to returning to #Pakistan.
I know the whataboutery crowd are full of shit and don’t give a flying fuck about any of the issues they claim to care about - in this ☝🏽case women, Muslims, Pakistan. But I respond because:

Holy cow! Senior militia leaders killed in American strikes in Iraq, and could include Iran’s Qassem Soleimani or one of his top aides from Iraq. Beyond insane.
So far confirmed — the Pentagon is saying two senior operatives “linked to Iran” were targeted.

Iraqi TV claims that Qassem Sulaimani and Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were killed.

If true, this is no doubt the most significant/consequential killing probably in a decade.
